Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ned Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Buckleberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Fistfull of Dollars. Buckleberry has chosen Give Up The Funk as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ned Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prince Buckleberry!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckleberry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Buckleberry punishes Kelly's body with a nice straight punch.
Buckleberry looks to land a body kick but Kelly moved away.
Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buckleberry tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buckleberry to the ground. Buckleberry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Buckleberry lands a high kick!
Buckleberry connects with a high kick.
Kelly fails to land the takedown.
Kelly shoots for a takedown but Buckleberry saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buckleberry is looking to slow Kelly down with leg kicks.

Kelly takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kelly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buckleberry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kelly drops back, looking for a kneebar! Buckleberry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Buckleberry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Buckleberry!
Kelly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Buckleberry is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kelly knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Buckleberry misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Buckleberry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kelly keeps working.
Kelly tries to bench press Buckleberry off him but Buckleberry keeps the position.

Buckleberry working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kelly is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Buckleberry looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kelly shoots for a double leg takedown but Buckleberry sprawls well. He's pushed Kelly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Buckleberry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Buckleberry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kelly on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Buckleberry. Buckleberry obviously looking to wear him down.

Kelly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kelly working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Buckleberry wants to control but Kelly postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kelly wants to work for an arm triangle but Buckleberry is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kelly is working for a kimura but Buckleberry is defending it quite comfortably.
Kelly is thwarting Buckleberry's attempts to control the position.

Buckleberry is doing well to control the position and prevent Kelly from advancing to side control.

Kelly is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly moves out of range of the body kick from Buckleberry.
Kelly on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Buckleberry.
Buckleberry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kelly fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Buckleberry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kelly swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Buckleberry throws a leg kick which misses Kelly's front leg but catches the back leg as Kelly tries to avoid it.
Prince Buckleberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buckleberry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Buckleberry slaps away a takedown attempt from Kelly, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buckleberry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Buckleberry can pounce on him.

Kelly shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buckleberry napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kelly is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Buckleberry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Prince Buckleberry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kelly dives in and grabs Buckleberry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buckleberry pushes down on Kelly's head and hops out.
Kelly takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kelly blocks a head kick by Buckleberry.

Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buckleberry but Buckleberry pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kelly is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Buckleberry moves in looking to clinch but Kelly pushes him off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Buckleberry.

Kelly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buckleberry pinned against the cage. Buckleberry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kelly.
Kelly moves forwards but Buckleberry connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Buckleberry misses with a hook. Kelly ducked under it nicely.
Prince Buckleberry seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Buckleberry lands a head kick. Kelly smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Buckleberry lands with a kick to the temple. Kelly shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kelly takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Buckleberry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kelly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kelly takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Buckleberry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kelly shoots for a takedown but Buckleberry saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Prince Buckleberry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Buckleberry throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Buckleberry lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ned Kelly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Prince Buckleberry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buckleberry thows a body kick. Kelly tries to catch it but that hurt him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Buckleberry stuffs the takedown.

Prince Buckleberry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Buckleberry winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
