The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veroni fails with the takedown.
No luck for Veroni with that takedown attempt.

Conrad changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Veroni looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Conrad thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Veroni is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Conrad is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Veroni's shoulder. That is not cool.

Conrad is trying to get an arm triangle but Veroni is defending well.

Conrad has hold of Veroni's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Veroni seems comfortable defending it but Conrad has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Veroni is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Veroni is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Conrad couldn't care less - he's delighted!
