Gaillard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Victoria. Frost is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smack My Bitch Up by The Prodigy. Gideon Frost has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaillard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frost.
Frost takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Gideon Frost has been cut.
Gaillard throws a jab when Frost was well out of range.
Frost avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gaillard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frost.
Gaillard misses with a straight right.
Gaillard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Frost misses with a takedown attempt - Gaillard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Frost shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gaillard napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gaillard catches Frost with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Frost takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Frost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gaillard.

and Frost counters with a shoot takedown. Gaillard fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gaillard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gaillard tries to get out of the position.
Frost is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Frost with a flurry of punches that miss.
Frost is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Remi Gaillard will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Frost shoots in looking for a takedown. Gaillard tries to sprawl out of it but Frost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gaillard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Frost moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Frost counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Frost.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Frost takes one to the side of the head.

That has opened up Gideon Frost's cut even more.
Frost slips under a jab from Gaillard.
Gaillard misses with a low kick.
Gaillard loads up on a big right hand but Frost slips the punch.
Gaillard throws an overhand right that lands on Frost's shoulder, as Frost tries to avoid the shot.
Frost tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gaillard swivels and escapes.
Gaillard looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gaillard looks to land a right hand but Frost moved out of range.

The cut above Gideon Frost's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Gaillard lands a left and a right that send Frost crashing to the mat, dazed. Gaillard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Frost bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Gaillard lands a big uppercut and Frost crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Frost looks OK. Gaillard waves Frost back to his feet!
Frost is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaillard finish him?

Gideon Frost's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gideon Frost's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
