Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tepez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepez comes into the arena with Slayer - Here Comes The Pain blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Martinez 's choice of entrance music: Paparazzi. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tepez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Tepez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tepez looking to control but instead Martinez has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Martinez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tepez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tepez shoots in but Martinez avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Martinez tries to work over Tepez's front leg with a kick but Tepez checks it.
Martinez throws a push kick but Tepez slaps the foot to one side.
Martinez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martinez tries to bum rush Tepez with a series of wild strikes but Tepez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martinez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Martinez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Martinez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Martinez just misses with a punch to the body.
