The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez has a takedown stuffed.
Troy lands a left and a right that sends Sanchez crashing to the canvas! Troy dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Sergio Sanchez has been cut.

Troy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sanchez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Oh Sanchez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanchez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Troy is looking to take a break and control but Sanchez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sanchez is pressing down on Troy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Troy wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.

Sanchez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Troy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sanchez.
You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Troy tries to advance to mount but can't.
Sanchez tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Sanchez regains half guard.
Sanchez is trying to maintain the position but Troy is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Sanchez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Troy defends well.
