Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Les Roughneck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Spite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roughneck comes to the cage accompanied by Roughest Neck Around - Corb Lund. Spite has chosen "Here Comes The Boom" - Nelly as his entrance music. Les Roughneck has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spite lands with a cross.
Roughneck shoots in for a takedown but Spite shows good takedown defense.
DeAngelo Spite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spite fails to land with a series of punches.
Spite is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Roughneck fails to land the takedown.
Roughneck feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Roughneck looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Spite is defending against the submission attempts here by Roughneck.
