Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starr comes to the cage accompanied by "Yo Yo Ninja Boy" by Less Than Jake. Jayson Starr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight lands with a slapping head kick.

Starr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Starr trying to pass the guard but Knight defending well.
Starr looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Knight tries to kick Starr off but Starr keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Starr is pressing down on Knight's thigh, looking to free his foot. Knight is holding on for now.
Starr is working hard here to advance position.
Starr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Starr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Knight misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Starr stops Knight from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Starr looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Knight lands a head kick!
Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Knight with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Starr shoots in but no luck this time.
Alex Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knight throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Starr is rocked!
A head kick by Knight - that's a beauty! Starr is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Knight can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
