The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peters fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Serptentino sprawls well initially but Peters persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Peters seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Serptentino gets full guard.

Serptentino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Serptentino keeping moving, preventing Peters from controlling successfully.
Peters has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Serptentino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Serptentino has a closed guard, preventing Peters from standing up.

Serptentino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Peters is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peters has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Serptentino is proving hard to escape from.

Serptentino has his feet on Peters's thighs here. He's pushed Peters off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Peters screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
