Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barata Brucutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Volkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brucutu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Brucutu avoids the attempt from Volkman to control.
Volkman reaches up and holds on to Brucutu to control the position.
Brucutu throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Volkman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Volkman throws a hook to the side of Brucutu's head but Brucutu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Volkman throws a nice looking combination but Brucutu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brucutu tries to score a body lock takedown but Volkman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Brucutu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Volkman uses from the top position.

Volkman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Volkman misses with a low kick as Brucutu jumps back.
Volkman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Volkman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Volkman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brucutu's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Volkman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Volkman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brucutu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A decent looking cross lands there for Volkman.
Volkman throws a combination. Brucutu tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Brucutu is rocked!
Volkman lands with an uppercut that bounces Brucutu off the cage and back into rage.
Oh Brucutu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Volkman cracks Brucutu with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brucutu tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Volkman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brucutu is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
