The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraft throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Meyers.
Kraft clinches up against the cage.
Kraft misses with an elbow over the top.
Kraft creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Meyers avoids the elbow strike from Kraft, against the cage.
Meyers takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Michael Meyers has been cut.
Meyers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Meyers tries to clinch up
and Kraft counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Meyers's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kraft wanted to stand there but Meyers had control of the position.
Meyers pushes Kraft off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kraft darts in trying to clinch
and Meyers counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Meyers misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kraft creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Meyers tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kraft smiles and moves away.
Meyers slips a jab from Kraft.
Meyers misses with a low kick.
Meyers circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kraft.
Kraft scores a takedown into full mount!
Meyers is looking to improve his position but Kraft isn't that keen on the idea.
Kraft lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kraft has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Meyers is forced to tap!
