The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daddy but Daddy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Araujo scores with a hook to the body. Daddy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Araujo rushes Daddy and presses him up against the ropes.
Daddy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Araujo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Daddy prevents Araujo from breaking the clinch.
Araujo tries to break free but Daddy pushes him back against the ropes.
Daddy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Araujo lands a nice uppercut.
Araujo lands a body punch.
Araujo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Daddy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Araujo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Araujo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daddy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Daddy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Daddy lands a jab to the nose.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daddy fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Araujo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Araujo loads up on a big right hand but Daddy slips the punch.
Araujo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Daddy keeps the fight on the outside.
Araujo scores with a punch to the head.
Daddy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Daddy tries to clinch but Araujo moves out of range.
Araujo misses with an uppercut. Daddy saw that one coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for Araujo.
Araujo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Araujo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Daddy is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daddy avoids the body shot from Araujo.
Araujo shoots for a takedown but Daddy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Daddy fails to land with a series of punches.

Araujo has taken the fight to the clinch.

Daddy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Araujo lands a jab to the nose.
A jab from Araujo misses.

Araujo lands a big right hand that sends Daddy crashing to the mat! Araujo stays standing though and waves Daddy back to his feet!

Daddy is rocked!
Araujo fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Daddy square on the jaw! Damn, Daddy is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
