A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, thiego hasselhoff!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hasselhoff fails with an attempt to clinch.
hasselhoff defending well as Ruass loads up on a big left hand.
hasselhoff lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ruass's sensitive parts.
No luck with that takedown attempt from hasselhoff.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ruass drops down looking for an ankle pick but hasselhoff pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ruass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
hasselhoff thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

hasselhoff is looking for a triangle here but Ruass uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
hasselhoff is not content to let Ruass control the position.
hasselhoff wants to get back to his feet.

hasselhoff is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ruass's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
hasselhoff is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

hasselhoff kicks Ruass off and gets back to his feet.

Ruass drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ruass is breathing heavily.

hasselhoff pushes Ruass off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

hasselhoff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ruass paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ruass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ruass tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and hasselhoff is able to avoid easily.
hasselhoff throws a head kick that misses.
Ruass avoids the head kick by hasselhoff.
Ruass tries to clinch up

and hasselhoff counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by hasselhoff.
hasselhoff should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

hasselhoff has clasped his hands together around Ruass's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

hasselhoff is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ruass is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ruass tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but hasselhoff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

hasselhoff has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ruass is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. hasselhoff yanks on the arm and Ruass is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by hasselhoff.
