The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The GridIron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The GridIron manages to capitalize on a mistake by Manninen to take his back!
The GridIron has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Manninen tries to roll but The GridIron sticks to his back.

The GridIron looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Manninen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The GridIron wants the takedown. Manninen is fighting it off but The GridIron persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Manninen's guard against the cage.

Jake The GridIron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The GridIron works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The GridIron throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Manninen is trying to control The GridIron's posture but The GridIron avoids it.
The GridIron tries to move into full mount but can't pass Manninen's legs.
The GridIron has hold of Manninen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Manninen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - The GridIron cranks the arm and Manninen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Manninen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
