Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

turbano forces Kartel back against the cage and clinches.
turbano can't get the takedown.

turbano stops a takedown attempt from Kartel.
Kartel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. turbano smiles and moves away.
Kartel leaves turbano with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kartel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping turbano at a distance.
turbano avoids the head kick by Kartel.
turbano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tomas turbano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from turbano.
turbano shoots in looking for a takedown. Kartel tries to sprawl out of it but turbano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kartel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kartel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kartel lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kartel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

turbano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kartel is fending him off so far but turbano persists. Nope, Kartel circles away and we're back to standing.

Kartel misses with an attempted mid kick.
turbano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kartel swivels and escapes.
turbano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kartel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kartel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
turbano shoots in for a takedown but Kartel shows good takedown defense.
Kartel throws a head kick but turbano moves out of range.
turbano throws a series of punches but Kartel moves out of range.

turbano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kartel swivels and escapes.
Kartel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kartel staying out of range there.
turbano shoots in for a takedown but Kartel shows good takedown defense.

turbano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kartel sprawls well initially but turbano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kartel wants to improve his position but turbano is controlling well.
Kartel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Kartel is looking to sinch up a triangle. turbano throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kartel's body to avoid the submission. Kartel has instead reached around turbano's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kartel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
