Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Jasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by My Territory. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Jasper!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jasper is looking to improve his position but Brown isn't that keen on the idea.

Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jasper for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jasper tries to hold on but Brown postures up.
Brown wants to control the pace but Jasper is squirming around nicely.
Jasper is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Brown swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jasper is now in Brown's guard. A big mistake from Brown there, giving up the dominant position!
Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jasper decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brown, up you get!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jasper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jasper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
