The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLean lands a jab to the head.
Broderson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Broderson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Broderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McLean shoots in looking for a takedown. Broderson tries to sprawl out of it but McLean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Broderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

McLean has closed the distance and engaged Broderson in a clinch.
Broderson digs a right hand underneath McLean's ribcage. McLean let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Broderson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

and McLean counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Broderson thinking.
Broderson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

McLean lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
McLean misses with the combination.
McLean throws a right and a left that both miss.

and McLean counters with a series of strikes. Broderson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Broderson drops McLean with a left right combo! Broderson follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Lenny McLean has been cut.

McLean throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Broderson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
