Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Boucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood comes to the cage accompanied by Nobody gets out alive. Boucher is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Protect Ya Neck by Wu Tang Clan. The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wood throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boucher stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wood lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wood lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boucher missing with a left hand there. Wood was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wood feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boucher's calf.
Boucher looks gassed!
Boucher shoots for a double leg takedown but Wood sprawls well. He's pushed Boucher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boucher takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wood connects with a nice cross there... Boucher is looking wobbly and Wood recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Boucher to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Wood jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
