Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damir Klobucar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Klobucar gets the takedown into side control.
Gomez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Klobucar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Klobucar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gomez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Klobucar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gomez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Klobucar has Gomez in his guard.
Gomez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klobucar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Klobucar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gomez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Klobucar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gomez's back instead.
