Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ed Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukulele Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson has chosen Bob Marley "is This Love" as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fight stays on the outside here - Murphy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No luck for Murphy with that takedown attempt.

Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fredriksson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Murphy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Murphy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fredriksson avoids it really well and circles away.

Fredriksson throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Murphy stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Fredriksson follows into mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Murphy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Despite being in the dominant position, Ukulele Fredriksson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice takedown defense from Fredriksson. No joy for Murphy on that attempt.

Murphy takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Murphy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fredriksson swivels and escapes.

Fredriksson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fredriksson! Murphy is out on his feet! Fredriksson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Murphy is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Murphy is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ukulele Fredriksson!
