The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

StPierreDiaz closes the distance and clinches.

StPierreDiaz tightens his grip and picks Durante Jr up, before dumping him to the ground. Durante Jr manages to land in guard.

Durante Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and StPierreDiaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durante Jr has managed to get both his arms back between StPierreDiaz's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Ricardo Durante Jr will probably get the nod.

Durante Jr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. StPierreDiaz manages to get himself to full guard.

StPierreDiaz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Durante Jr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. StPierreDiaz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Durante Jr's back instead.
