Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Omar Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Berry will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berry shoots for a double leg takedown but Trejo sprawls well. He's pushed Berry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Trejo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Trejo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Berry moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Berry has his foot on Trejo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trejo works his way back into a safe position though.

Trejo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trejo has managed to get both his arms back between Berry's legs - danger averted.
