Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali dips to his left and cracks Smith with an uppercut!
It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side.
Ali shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
No luck for Ali with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammad Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Ali shows good takedown defense.
Ali darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ali is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ali gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ali gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ali apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Ali closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ali tries to circle away but Smith has him pinned against the cage.
Ali can't break the clinch.
Ali jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.

Ali has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ali lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith!
Ali has hold of Smith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith is in a horrible position here. Ali smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Smith is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Ali has taken his back!

Smith is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ali counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
Ali is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ali stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Smith gets caught flat footed, as Ali shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ali gets to his feet - Smith follows without any prompting.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ali slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Smith.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smith is looking to get to half guard.
Smith is trying to stand but he's just given Ali his back.
You can see the frustration on Smith's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Smith has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Ali is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Smith has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Ali has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Smith taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Ali doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mohammad Ali!
