Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nico Duber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homero Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero shoots in for a takedown but Duber shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Duber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guerrero, pushing him back against the cage.
Duber lands an elbow inside.

Duber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Guerrero wants to clinch
and Duber counters with a good low kick that Guerrero was not able to check.

and Duber counters with a shoot takedown. Guerrero fights it but they end up in guard.

Duber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Duber moves into range and clinches up with Guerrero.
Guerrero is trying to break the clinch but Duber is controlling him.

Duber has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Guerrero clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Duber is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Guerrero defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Guerrero manages to reverse the position and now he's in Duber's guard. Nice work there by Guerrero.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Duber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guerrero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Duber has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guerrero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
