Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eikichi Onizuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuch Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onizuka shoots for a takedown but Ortiz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ortiz leaves Onizuka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ortiz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Eikichi Onizuka has been cut.
Onizuka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily.

Onizuka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Ortiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
