Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronze Bomber Chai (ranked 138 p4p, 305 weight class) and Nero Vogels (ranked 21 p4p, 40 weight class). Bronze Bomber Chai could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nero Vogels's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bronze Bomber Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nero Vogels!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Chai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vogels working hard to break the clinch.
Vogels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chai tries to clinch up.
Vogels swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Chai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vogels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chai feinted there with a counter leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Chai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vogels throws a fast counter high kick but Chai manages to duck under it in time.
Chai chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vogels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chai is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Vogels.
Chai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vogels sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Vogels releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A lazy body kick from Vogels
and Chai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Nero Vogels has been cut.
Vogels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chai throws out the jab.
Vogels lands with a nice body kick.
Vogels thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vogels misses with a hook.
Chai misses with an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vogels rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chai counters with a head kick.
Chai has closed the distance and engaged Vogels in a clinch.
Vogels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chai looks to land a right hand but Vogels moved out of range.
Vogels throws a hook but Chai blocks it.
Chai appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Chai scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Chai fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vogels looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vogels takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Chai scores with a shot to the body.
Chai closes the distance and clinches.
I was talking to Chai's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Chai putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Vogels in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chai lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Vogels breaks the clinch.
Vogels misses with a hook to the body
and Chai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vogels looks winded!
Vogels on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bronze Bomber Chai dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nero Vogels's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Chai goes for a small jab and connects. Now Chai goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Vogels stumbles back but Chai runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Vogels to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Vogels will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bronze Bomber Chai!
