Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jing Woo (ranked 3904 p4p, 4069 weight class) and Tite Aqauri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jing Woo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tite Aqauri!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woo clinches with his opponent.

Woo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aqauri can't fight it off and eventually Woo manages to take the fight to the floor. Aqauri looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Aqauri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Aqauri looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Woo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aqauri wants to sweep here but Woo controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aqauri seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Aqauri looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Woo throwing strikes but missing.
Woo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Aqauri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Woo defends it easily.

Aqauri is looking for a triangle but Woo pushes his legs off easily.
Woo wants to control from the top but Aqauri keeps moving.
Aqauri working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Woo.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aqauri lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Woo is looking to stand up but Aqauri isn't so interested in that idea.
Aqauri trying to control the position from guard on top but Woo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Aqauri controlling from the top position.
Aqauri looking to sit in guard and control but Woo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Woo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Aqauri looking for a guillotine here but Woo defends easily.
Aqauri keeping moving, preventing Woo from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Woo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Woo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aqauri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Woo has managed to get both his arms back between Aqauri's legs - danger averted.
Woo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aqauri on the ground.
Aqauri is pulling down on Woo's head to control his posture.

Aqauri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aqauri holds on and takes a little breather.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Aqauri pushes a forearm under Woo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Woo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tite Aqauri!
Tite Aqauri spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
