Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoni Megaladon (ranked 141 p4p, 416 weight class) and Axmed Abdullah (ranked 22 p4p, 54 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Megaladon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Break On Throoooyeah. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Megaladon throws a body shot but no joy.

Abdullah dives in for a single leg takedown but Megaladon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Megaladon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Abdullah changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Abdullah has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
