Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonsamaritano tries for a takedown but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McGuire let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've been hearing reports that Bonsamaritano has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bonsamaritano closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGuire circles away.
Gabriel Bonsamaritano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuire moves into the clinch.

McGuire is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGuire is trying to stand back up but Bonsamaritano is controlling him
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bonsamaritano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McGuire does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
McGuire rushes Bonsamaritano and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for McGuire.
McGuire lands on the inside with an uppercut.
McGuire landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
McGuire crunches a lovely knee into Bonsamaritano's ribcage.

McGuire has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Bonsamaritano seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if McGuire can turn it around.
McGuire lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bonsamaritano.
McGuire lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
McGuire breaks the clinch.
McGuire forces Bonsamaritano back against the cage and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McGuire.
McGuire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McGuire jabs at Bonsamaritano's body.
McGuire dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bonsamaritano. That did some damage!

McGuire lands a big uppercut and Bonsamaritano crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bonsamaritano looks OK. McGuire waves Bonsamaritano back to his feet!
Bonsamaritano is rocked!
McGuire is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bonsamaritano flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bonsamaritano is out cold! McGuire holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cole McGuire!
