Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dolidze instigates a clinch.
Thompson tries to work over Dolidze's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Thompson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Thompson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Thompson can't find room to land a body shot as Dolidze controls the action.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Thompson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dolidze wants to stall.
Thompson swings wildly with an uppercut but Dolidze uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson misses with some punches.
Dolidze has Thompson pushed against the ropes.
Dolidze trying to control the position but instead, Thompson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dolidze into the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dolidze slowing the pace effectively.
Dolidze will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Thompson up against the ropes.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sergio Dolidze.

Dolidze is struggling to control the position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jessie Thompson.
Well Thompson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
