Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Cantrell (ranked 3992 p4p, 3988 weight class) and Jeremy Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 399 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaxon Cantrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Fitzgerald!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cantrell as Fitzgerald shoots in.
Fitzgerald avoids the body shot from Cantrell.
Fitzgerald misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cantrell appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cantrell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fitzgerald manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cantrell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fitzgerald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cantrell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cantrell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fitzgerald works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cantrell slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Fitzgerald tries to buck Cantrell off but Cantrell is having none of it.
Cantrell has an Americana. Fitzgerald didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cantrell is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cantrell hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
