Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muammar Sawafte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luka Petrovic!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sawafte to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sawafte throwing strikes but missing.
Sawafte throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Petrovic works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sawafte prevents Petrovic from getting back to his feet.
Petrovic looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sawafte stops Petrovic from standing up.
Sawafte is working Petrovic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Petrovic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Petrovic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sawafte.

Petrovic is working an open guard so Sawafte takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Sawafte counters with a left and a right that stings Petrovic.
Petrovic throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sawafte counters with a crisp right hand that drops Petrovic! Sawafte lets Petrovic back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Petrovic is rocked!
Sawafte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petrovic as he avoids it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petrovic cracks Sawafte with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A head kick by Sawafte misses
and Petrovic counters with a nice leg kick.
Petrovic scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sawafte circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sawafte counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Petrovic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Petrovic throws a nice looking combination but Sawafte bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
An attempted straight right counter from Sawafte misses the target.
Sawafte keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Petrovic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sawafte circles away quickly and effectively.
Petrovic lands a right hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Petrovic!
Sawafte closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sawafte is breathing heavily.
Sawafte looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Petrovic tries to roll over but Sawafte keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sawafte throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Petrovic wants to stand back up but Sawafte manages to pass into side control.
Sawafte wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petrovic keeps working.
Petrovic throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Petrovic closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Petrovic shoots in but no luck this time.
Sawafte throwing a counter right hand but Petrovic manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sawafte.
Petrovic has managed to clinch.
Petrovic tries to break free but Sawafte pushes him back against the cage.
Sawafte jumps guard but Petrovic stands there with Sawafte around his waist. Sawafte gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muammar Sawafte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Petrovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Petrovic dips to his left and cracks Sawafte with an uppercut!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Petrovic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sawafte, pushing him back against the cage.
Petrovic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Petrovic uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sawafte.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Luka Petrovic will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Petrovic scores with a three punch combo!
Petrovic rushes Sawafte with punches - Sawafte moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Sawafte goes down! Petrovic follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luka Petrovic!
