Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goro Takemura (ranked 1416 p4p, 1055 weight class) and Kresimir Ilic (ranked 177 p4p, 138 weight class). Ilic has chosen Ako ne znaš šta je bilo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goro Takemura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kresimir Ilic!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Takemura.
Ilic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takemura.
Ilic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ilic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Takemura shoots and misses
and Ilic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ilic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A head kick by Takemura misses
and Ilic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A shot to the liver by Ilic. Beautiful body shot.
Takemura is breathing heavily.
Ilic misses the shot to the body.
Good exchange - Ilic coming out on top.
Goro Takemura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takemura shoots in for a takedown but Ilic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A little jabbing left from Ilic on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Takemura misses with a left hand
and Ilic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takemura takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ilic connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ilic throws a wild body kick that Takemura sees coming a mile off.
Takemura takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takemura swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ilic misses with a straight left.
Takemura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ilic looks for the body kick but Takemura saw that one coming.
Takemura lands with an uppercut that bounces Ilic off the cage and back into range.
Takemura takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ilic paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ilic throws a hook but Takemura blocks it.
Ilic swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Takemura.
Ilic is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Takemura had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Ilic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takemura rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ilic counters with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ilic ducks under a wild hook from Takemura.
Takemura misses with a left hand
and Ilic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ilic darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ilic sends Takemura crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ilic is motioning to the referee to let Takemura up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Takemura is rocked!
Takemura drops his hands momentarily. Ilic doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Takemura staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Takemura doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kresimir Ilic!
