Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Tasi (ranked 2467 p4p, 3237 weight class) and Gee Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joaquin Tasi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joaquin Tasi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gee Dee! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tasi with a poor takedown
and Dee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dee.
Tasi gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Tasi is working for a submission of some sort.
Dee trying to control from the bottom.
Tasi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tasi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dee is just riding it out for now. Tasi eventually gives up the hold. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tasi is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Dee reverses the position - he's now on top in Tasi's guard.

Tasi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dee trying to control the position from guard on top but Tasi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tasi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dee defends it easily.

Tasi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dee stacks Tasi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dee!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tasi is looking for a sweep. Dee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dee content to control rather than advance. Tasi keeping hold of Dee's head, controlling as best he can. Tasi trying to control but Dee postures up.
Tasi wants to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dee is looking to advance position but Tasi won't allow it. Dee trying to control the action but Tasi is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joaquin Tasi will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dee drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tasi defends it well.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Dee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tasi's guard. Dee wants to take a breather but Tasi is having none of it. Dee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tasi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dee is working away from the top position though. Tasi wants to get back to full guard.

Tasi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tasi is looking to take a break and control but Dee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tasi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Tasi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tasi wants to control but Dee is keeping him busy.

And that's the end of the fight! Joaquin Tasi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tasi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
