Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tevin Shay (ranked 48 p4p, 80 weight class) and Danny Braxton (ranked 5 p4p, 11 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tevin Shay!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Braxton!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braxton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shay shoots in looking for a takedown. Braxton tries to sprawl out of it but Shay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Braxton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shay throws a looping overhand right but Braxton ducks down to avoid it.
Braxton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Braxton but Braxton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
