Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jalen Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Khalil Leister!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leister rushes Turner and presses him up against the cage.
Turner scores a nice knee to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Turner.

It looks like Khalil Leister has been cut.

Turner pulls guard successfully.
Leister trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turner is looking to stand up but Leister isn't so interested in that idea.
Leister is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner wants to stand up but Leister is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Turner gets tackled into the cage by Leister. Leister maintains the clinch.
Leister fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Turner working Leister over with knees to the body.

Turner effectively controlling the action here.
Leister wants a takedown but no success here.

Leister tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Turner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jalen Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khalil Leister.

Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Turner pushes Leister back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Turner lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Turner lands an elbow just above Leister 's eye.

Turner gets underhooks to prevent Leister's takedown attempt.

Turner pulls guard effortlessly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leister prevents Turner from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turner keeping moving, preventing Leister from controlling successfully.
Leister is stalling in the full guard.
Leister stops Turner from standing up.
Turner trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Leister wants to pass the guard but Turner is keeping the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Turner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leister is controlling him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Turner darts in and clinches Leister up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Leister tries to pull guard but Turner holds him up against the cage and eventually Leister drops back down to his feet.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Leister gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Turner manages to break the clinch.
Leister has a takedown stuffed.
We've been informed that Leister has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Turner gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Leister is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turner takes a little break here. Leister wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jalen Turner dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Khalil Leister's cut.
That's time! Turner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Leister gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Turner counters with a left and a right that stings Leister.

Leister is rocked!
Turner dances in with a quick combination. Leister is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Turner snaps Leister's head back. Leister stumbles backwards against the cage. Turner steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Leister's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Leister just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jalen Turner!
Jalen Turner tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
