Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arctic Char (ranked 1797 p4p, 2300 weight class) and Richard Carter (ranked 187 p4p, 219 weight class). Char comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arctic Char!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Carter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a body shot.
A lazy body kick from Carter
and Char counters with a good low kick that Carter was not able to check.
Carter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Good leg kick by Char.
Carter lands a nice shot that snaps Char's head back.
Carter ducks under a wild hook from Char.

Carter appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Char avoids a punch combination nicely.
Char was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Char counters with a two punch combo.
Char lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Char tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Char.
Carter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carter misses with a jab to the body
and Char connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Char is looking to score with low kicks.
A countering left hand to the body from Carter misses.
Carter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Char sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Char lands with a nice combination. Carter backs away looking to recover.
Carter is rocked!
Char lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Carter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Char walks into a jab.
Char swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A quick step to the side and Char tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter takes one on the button.
Carter is still on wobbly legs! Can Char finish him?

Carter seems to have recovered his senses.
Carter misses with a kick to the body
and Char counters with a nice uppercut.
Char scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carter doesn't seem bothered though.
Carter lands a jab.
Char lands with an overhand left.
Carter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Char fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Carter to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Carter looks to clinch but Char throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Carter taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Arctic Char!
During a confident post fight interview, Arctic Char thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
