Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Evan Kirk!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ecclestone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kirk sprawls well. Kirk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ecclestone gets slowly back to his feet.
Ecclestone moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKirk.
Ecclestone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kirk as he jumps to the side.
Kirk appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Kirk makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ecclestone really felt that one!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niki Ecclestone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As Ecclestone backs off Kirk throws a huge counter combo but Ecclestone manages to avoid it all.

Kirk gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ecclestone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kirk wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ecclestone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kirk's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ecclestone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kirk's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kirk is defending against the submission attempts here by Ecclestone.
Ecclestone wants to pass to mount but Kirk is defending the position.
Ecclestone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kirk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ecclestone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Ecclestone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kirk defend it? Ecclestone steps over the head and cranks it - Kirk is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ecclestone!
