Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josynn GurtnerMcGary (ranked 4758 p4p, 3209 weight class) and Alba Shear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josynn GurtnerMcGary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alba Shear!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GurtnerMcGary looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
GurtnerMcGary fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shear avoids it really well and circles away.
GurtnerMcGary throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Alba Shear has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shear shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. GurtnerMcGary manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shear not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like Shear might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Shear is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shear stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shear wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josynn GurtnerMcGary. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from GurtnerMcGary is defended easily by Shear.
Josynn GurtnerMcGary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shear tries to clinch up.
GurtnerMcGary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shear as he jumps to the side.
Shear bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

GurtnerMcGary is trying to improve his position.
Shear is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down GurtnerMcGary's shoulder. That is not cool.
Let's hope that Shear has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Shear connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused GurtnerMcGary some visible discomfort.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Shear tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shear has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
GurtnerMcGary stops Shear from passing to mount.
GurtnerMcGary is looking for a sweep.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Shear works to advance to full mount. GurtnerMcGary defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alba Shear dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alba Shear's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Shear closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shear lands in his opponent's guard.
GurtnerMcGary is looking to stand back up but Shear counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by GurtnerMcGary.
GurtnerMcGary is trying to control but Shear passes into side control!
Shear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
GurtnerMcGary knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shear on the ground.

Shear is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but GurtnerMcGary is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
GurtnerMcGary regains half guard.
Shear is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. GurtnerMcGary doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shear.
GurtnerMcGary wants to stand back up but Shear manages to pass into side control.

Shear is working to tighten his grip on GurtnerMcGary's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. GurtnerMcGary has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shear is really squeezing tight and eventually GurtnerMcGary passes out! Shear breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
