Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Wilder (ranked 207 p4p, 380 weight class) and Munkh Tengri (ranked 29 p4p, 48 weight class). Wilder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is GraveyardGod. And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Munkh Tengri!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tengri blocks a jab.
Wilder has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zanshin MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Wilder lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tengri at a distance.
Wilder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tengri sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tengri lands a jab.
It looks like Quinton Wilder has been cut.
Tengri moves out of range of the leg kick from Wilder.
Tengri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Tengri responds with a good body kick, but Wilder manages to step out the way in time.

Tengri throws a push kick but Wilder slaps the foot to one side.
Wilder scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wilder throws a looping overhand right but Tengri ducks down to avoid it.

Tengri on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tengri moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Good work by Tengri as he checks the leg kick.
Tengri moves away from the strike by Wilder.
Wilder scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tengri ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tengri cracks Wilder with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A lazy left from Wilder finds it's target.
Wilder wants to slow Tengri down by chopping away at his legs.
Wilder swings widly with a right hand
and Wilder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wilder rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tengri counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tengri tries to land a body kick
and Wilder counters with a straight right hand.
Wilder connects with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tengri is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wilder.
Wilder throws a push kick but Tengri slaps the foot to one side.
Wilder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice side step and Tengri releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Wilder lands with an overhand left.
Wilder cracks Tengri with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tengri throws a lazy right hand but Wilder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice defenses there by Tengri.
Wilder misses with a hook. Tengri ducked under it nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Tengri - that will leave a mark!
Tengri avoids the head kick by Wilder.
Wilder moves out of range of the body kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wilder. Tengri shrugs it off though.
Wilder cracks Tengri with a good jab.
Wilder fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tengri.
Tengri uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wilder.
Wilder looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wilder swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Wilder misses with a hook.
Tengri avoids the body shot from Wilder.
Tengri staying out of range there.
And Tengri responds with a good body kick, but Wilder manages to step out the way in time.
Wilder throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wilder swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tengri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilder was well out of range. Poor timing from Tengri.

Wilder attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Tengri avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tengri! But no joy.
Wilder missing with a left hand there. Tengri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wilder throws a low kick, looking for Tengri's leg but Tengri calmly moves out of range.
Wilder walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tengri checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tengri doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Wilder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tengri.

Wilder is breathing heavily.
Wilder misses with a right hand
and Tengri counters with a nice uppercut.
Quinton Wilder's cut is getting worse.
Quinton Wilder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilder throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tengri throws a body shot but no joy.
Tengri misses with a wild body shot.
Wilder fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilder throws out a loose jab but Tengri uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Tengri on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Quinton Wilder's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Tengri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wilder defending well as Tengri loads up on a big left hand.
A clash of legs there as Tengri blocks the low kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tengri steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Tengri finds it's way through Wilder's defenses.

and Wilder counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Quinton Wilder is winning the standup battle so far.
A low kick from Wilder is predictable there
and Tengri counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wilder! Tengri lets Wilder back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Wilder swings widly with a right hand
and Tengri counters with a nice right hand that sends Wilder toppling to the canvas! Wilder scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tengri finish him?!
Wilder is rocked!
Jeez, Quinton Wilder's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Quinton Wilder's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
