Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dante Blas (ranked 2347 p4p, 3204 weight class) and Daviti Krichiashvili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krichiashvili has chosen I'm An Island Boy as his entrance music. Dante Blas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dante Blas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daviti Krichiashvili! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blas fails with the takedown. Blas looks for a takedown but Krichiashvili sprawls well. Blas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krichiashvili tries to avoid it but Blas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krichiashvili to the ground. Krichiashvili escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante Blas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A kick lands to the mid section there for Krichiashvili. Krichiashvili swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blas closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Krichiashvili's guard. Krichiashvili is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Blas dives into side control.
Krichiashvili parries the strikes from Blas easily there. Blas is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Krichiashvili to escape.
Krichiashvili is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Blas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Blas wants to control but Krichiashvili is keeping him busy.

Blas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Krichiashvili has escaped the position, nice work there. Krichiashvili on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Blas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Krichiashvili is pushing Blas's head away, looking to escape. Blas manages to hold on to the position though. Krichiashvili is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Krichiashvili taking punishment in the form of punches.
Blas is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Krichiashvili looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blas gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Krichiashvili is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blas lets go of the hold and Krichiashvili can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dante Blas! An out of breath Dante Blas thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
