Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tengiz Todua (ranked 1669 p4p, 2171 weight class) and Stelios Raptis Jr (ranked 182 p4p, 213 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tengiz Todua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stelios Raptis Jr! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todua lands an overhand right. Todua misses with a jab to the body
enabling Raptis Jr to counter with a crisp jab.
 It looks like Tengiz Todua has been cut. Raptis Jr throws a leg kick and Todua counters with a left to the body. Todua throws a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Todua finds it's target. A nice inside leg kick there by Raptis Jr. That's going to slow Todua down. Raptis Jr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Todua is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Raptis Jr. Todua keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Todua's corner calls for a 1-2. Todua obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Todua takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tengiz Todua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Raptis Jr drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Todua throws a body shot but no joy.

Todua is looking to wear down Raptis Jr with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Todua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Raptis Jr. Todua getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Todua swings widly with a right hand
and Raptis Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Todua just misses with a punch to the body.
Todua takes a swing at Raptis Jr's ribcage but misses. Todua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Raptis Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Todua tests Raptis Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Raptis Jr throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Todua counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Raptis Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Raptis Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
 Raptis Jr is rocked! Raptis Jr tries to clinch there but Todua circles away.
Raptis Jr fails in his attempt to clinch. Todua throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Raptis Jr on the side of the head. Raptis Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Todua finish him?
Raptis Jr takes the fight into the clinch. Raptis Jr seems to have recovered his senses.

Raptis Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Todua swivels though and keeps the full guard. Raptis Jr's corner is telling him to maintain position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Raptis Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Todua misses with a body shot.
Raptis Jr connects with a solid leg kick. A low kick lands for Raptis Jr.
Raptis Jr pushes Todua up against the ropes in a clinch. Todua drops down looking for an ankle pick but Raptis Jr pulls his leg out and moves away.
Todua moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Todua lands a nice looking body shot.

 That's five minutes gone in the round. Todua looks to throw the jab but Raptis Jr is out of range. A lazy left from Todua finds it's target. Todua works the jab nicely. Raptis Jr plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Todua misses with a double jab
and Raptis Jr counters with a straight right hand. Raptis Jr ducks right into an uppercut from Todua. Todua throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Raptis Jr on the side of the head.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Todua looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice defenses there by Raptis Jr. Todua lands a nice shot that snaps Raptis Jr's head back.

Todua jumps guard and drags Raptis Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Todua is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Raptis Jr stopping the sweep attempt from Todua.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Raptis Jr wanted to stand there but Todua had control of the position. Todua keeping moving, preventing Raptis Jr from controlling successfully. Raptis Jr controls from within his opponent's guard.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Raptis Jr gets to his feet. Todua looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Raptis Jr tries to clinch and Todua counters with a lovely shot to the body. Todua looks to score with a jab to the body but Raptis Jr is just out of range. Todua comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Todua keeps the fight on the outside.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Todua tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Raptis Jr just stands there and leans against the ropes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tengiz Todua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raptis Jr stops a takedown attempt from Todua.
Todua tries to break the clinch but Raptis Jr is controlling the position. Raptis Jr tries to throw a body punch but Todua avoids it by throwing Raptis Jr back against the ropes. Todua is looking for a takedown. Raptis Jr lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Raptis Jr with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Todua is trying to force a seperation but Raptis Jr has the dominant position. Raptis Jr trying to control the position but instead, Todua has worked for underhooks and has pushed Raptis Jr into the ropes. Raptis Jr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Todua has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Todua wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Raptis Jr has him pressed against the ropes. Raptis Jr tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Todua avoids it. Raptis Jr has Todua pressed against the ropes, preventing Todua from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Raptis Jr obliges. Raptis Jr lands a nice uppercut. Raptis Jr gets underhooks to prevent Todua's takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tengiz Todua will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tengiz Todua's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raptis Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Todua stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raptis Jr. Raptis Jr throws a nice inside leg kick. Raptis Jr with the inside leg kick. Todua wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Raptis Jr misses with a knee to the head. Todua has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raptis Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Raptis Jr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Todua blocks it with crossed arms. Raptis Jr lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Raptis Jr keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Todua's efforts to push away. Todua changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Raptis Jr fights it off and pushes away nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the body from Todua misses and Raptis Jr counters with a good low kick that Todua was not able to check. Todua throws a predictable looking body shot

 Tengiz Todua's cut is getting worse. Todua lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Raptis Jr moves to clinch but Todua breaks away and Todua counters with a stiff right hand. Todua misses the shot to the body. Raptis Jr has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Raptis Jr tries a low kick but Todua avoids it. Raptis Jr throws a body kick that misses letting Todua counter with a right hand.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Raptis Jr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice defenses there by Raptis Jr. Raptis Jr takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Raptis Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. We've been told by Todua's head coaches at Ze Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A shot to the liver by Todua. Beautiful body shot. Raptis Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Todua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Todua is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Todua lands a nice hook to Raptis Jr's body. Raptis Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Todua is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

A telegraphed right hand from Todua misses the target. Todua cracks a nice hook into Raptis Jr's ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Stelios Raptis Jr. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
