Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Min Xiao (ranked 1651 p4p, 1997 weight class) and Tatsuro Taira (ranked 152 p4p, 184 weight class). Xiao comes to the ring accompanied by Miki Matsubara - Stay With Me. Tatsuro Taira is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Min Xiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuro Taira!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taira takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Xiao lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Xiao with a nice calf kick.
Xiao lands a glancing blow to the side of Taira's head.
Taira tries to clinch there but Xiao circles away.
Taira throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Xiao counters with a nice low kick that buckles Taira's knee momentarily.
Xiao scoring well with a low kick there.
Taira misses with a straight right.
Xiao works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Taira throws a hook but Xiao blocks it.
Taira tries for a takedown but Xiao sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Xiao misses the target.
Taira wants to clinch.
Xiao scores with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taira tries to clinch up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Xiao. Taira does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Xiao darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Xiao thuds his right hand into Taira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Taira throws a hook to the side of Xiao's head but Xiao sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Xiao avoids the body shot from Taira.
Xiao swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Xiao lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Taira at a distance.
Xiao swats away the attempt to clinch by Taira.
Xiao dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Taira. That did some damage!
Xiao looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Taira with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Xiao to score with a decent uppercut.
Xiao buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Xiao cracks a nice hook into Taira's ribs.
That kick from Xiao tenderised Taira's leg. Taira is trying to keep his angry face on.
Xiao lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taira wants to clinch up but Xiao keeps it at a distance.
Xiao keeps the fight on the outside.
Taira tries to move into range but Xiao moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xiao lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Taira is rocked!
Good leg kick by Xiao.
Taira tries to clinch there but Xiao circles away.
Xiao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Xiao feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Taira sprawling to the canvas! Taira rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Xiao finish him?!
Taira is still on wobbly legs! Can Xiao finish him?
Xiao fakes the body blow, causing Taira to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Taira goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Min Xiao!
A very excited looking Min Xiao made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
