Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Nicholson (ranked 3319 p4p, 2440 weight class) and Jamar Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 294 weight class). Stanislav Nicholson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanislav Nicholson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamar Singh! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nicholson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Singh unleashes a big counter combination but Nicholson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nicholson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Singh was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Singh misses with an uppercut. Nicholson saw that one coming. Nicholson leaves Singh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nicholson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Singh.
Sloppy strikes from Singh. Those never looked like landing. Nicholson throws a counter high kick but Singh was just alert enough to avoid it. Singh shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nicholson eats them both and turns towards Singh to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh wants to get back to striking at distance but Nicholson won't allow it.
Nicholson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Nicholson throws a punch but it's blocked by Singh. Singh is looking to break free of the clinch but Nicholson has double underhooks. Singh tries to circle away but Nicholson has him pinned against the cage. Singh wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nicholson has him pressed against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nicholson tries a knee to the head but Singh blocks it.

Singh throws a leg kick but Nicholson checks it. Singh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nicholson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Nicholson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Singh. Singh throws a looping overhand right but Nicholson ducks down to avoid it. Singh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jamar Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Nicholson misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singh wants to get back to striking at distance but Nicholson won't allow it.

Nicholson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Singh's efforts to push away. Singh is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Singh has had enough of the clinch but Nicholson keeps him there for the moment. Singh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A frustrated look appears on Singh's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nicholson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nicholson thinks about countering with a body kick. Nicholson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Singh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nicholson but Nicholson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Singh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nicholson circles away quickly and effectively. A quick step to the side and Nicholson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Singh tries to land a front kick but Nicholson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A head kick misses from Nicholson. Singh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nicholson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Singh throws a right hand that Nicholson ducks under and follows up with a left that Nicholson also avoids with ease. Singh swings and misses with a shot to the body and Nicholson counters with an inside leg kick. Singh takes a kick to the side of the head. Nicholson lands a slapping body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nicholson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Singh gets tackled into the cage by Nicholson. Nicholson maintains the clinch. Singh is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nicholson has Singh pressed against the cage, preventing Singh from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Singh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Nicholson crunches a lovely knee into Singh's ribcage. Singh is trying to push Nicholson away but Nicholson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Nicholson keeps control of Singh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A frustrated look appears on Singh's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nicholson with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Nicholson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Nicholson throws a knee to the head but misses.

And that's the end of the fight! Stanislav Nicholson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nicholson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
