Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Loose Anus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Magomed Ismailov!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anus wants it to stay on the feet.
Ismailov gets a clinch.
Anus lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ismailov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anus tries to clinch up
and Ismailov counters with a single leg into guard. Anus didn't expect that.
Anus has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ismailov has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Anus avoids a wild elbow strike from Ismailov.
Ismailov wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Anus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ismailov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ismailov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Anus gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ismailov is trying to drag Anus to the mat but Anus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Loose Anus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomed Ismailov.
Anus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ismailov blocks it with crossed arms.
Ismailov wants to take the fight to the mat but Anus manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Ismailov has clasped his hands together around Anus's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Ismailov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ismailov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anus keeps working.
Anus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ismailov's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Ismailov! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Anus has tapped! This one is allllll over!
