Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Duran (ranked 65 p4p, 309 weight class) and Santino Cabal (ranked 13 p4p, 49 weight class). Duran comes to the cage accompanied by This Could be Anywhere in the World. Bo Duran has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bo Duran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Santino Cabal!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabal thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cabal throws a series of strikes that have Duran backpedaling.
Cabal throws the left hand but Duran avoids the punch easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Cabal misses the target.
Cabal jabs at Duran's body.
Duran steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cabal.
Duran appears to be looking for a big counter.
Cabal throws a quick inside leg kick.
Cabal scores with a jab to the body.
Cabal throws out a loose jab but Duran uses good head movement to avoid it.
It looked like Duran was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cabal.
Cabal wants to slow Duran down by chopping away at his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabal connects with a body shot.
Cabal misses with a body kick.
Duran thinks about countering with a body kick.
Duran moves out of range as Cabal throws a body kick.
Cabal lands a nice looking kick to the body. Duran takes a step back to recover.

Duran ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Duran was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cabal lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Duran takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cabal swings away with a body shot that misses
and Duran counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Duran misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cabal misses with a hook. Duran ducked under it nicely.
Cabal swings widly with a right hand
and Duran counters with a body kick.

Cabal looks winded!
Duran swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cabal lands a leg kick that knocks Duran off balance momentarily.
Cabal is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Duran defending well as Cabal loads up on a big left hand.
Cabal thows a leg kick but Duran checks it
and Duran counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cabal throws an off balance right hand
and Duran counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cabal is rocked!

Cabal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duran was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Cabal misses with a hook. Duran ducked under it nicely.
Duran misses the shot to the body.
Duran cracks Cabal with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cabal tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Duran pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cabal is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bo Duran!
A very excited looking Bo Duran made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
