Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raja Guru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacek Tyburski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyburski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guru swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Guru uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyburski.
Tyburski scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Guru keeps the fight on the outside.
It looked like Guru wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tyburski lands a body shot.
Tyburski looks to land a left hand but Guru moved out of range nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Guru on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tyburski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A quick step to the side and Guru tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guru uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tyburski.
Tyburski tries to clinch up but Guru circles away and keeps his distance.

Tyburski has Guru up against the cage in a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tyburski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guru putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Tyburski in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Tyburski lands a left hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guru creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Guru prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tyburski fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Guru's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Guru connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tyburski. Tyburski circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Jacek Tyburski has been cut.
Tyburski tries to clinch up.
Guru throws a sloppy head kick and Tyburski moves out of range easily.
Tyburski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Guru counters with a big right hand! Oh Tyburski is in trouble here! Guru follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
