Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 1946 p4p, 2976 weight class) and Cai King (ranked 210 p4p, 291 weight class). Meridius comes to the cage accompanied by “Remember the Name” – Fort Minor. Maximus Meridius could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cai King's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cai King!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius tries to clinch there but King circles away.
Meridius moves forwards but King connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Meridius throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and King counters with a crisp right hand that drops Meridius! King lets Meridius back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Meridius is rocked!
King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Meridius counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Meridius flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Meridius is out cold! King holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cai King!
Cai King decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
