Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cassius Thundercock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deven Zuniga!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thundercock misses with a takedown attempt - Zuniga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zuniga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thundercock is trying to defend but Zuniga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Zuniga not doing much here.
Zuniga prevents Thundercock from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thundercock is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zuniga scores with a couple of nice shots.
Zuniga decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Thundercock is looking to clinch but Zuniga is avoiding it.
Zuniga closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Zuniga comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Cassius Thundercock has been cut.
Zuniga tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Thundercock avoids it.
Zuniga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zuniga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Zuniga pulls Thundercock in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Zuniga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Zuniga is continuing to stall.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zuniga tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Zuniga in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Thundercock tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Zuniga!
