Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damien Holt (ranked 662 p4p, 1123 weight class) and Fazkhat Kaztamanov (ranked 93 p4p, 145 weight class). Fazkhat Kaztamanov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damien Holt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fazkhat Kaztamanov! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaztamanov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kaztamanov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Holt looking for a sweep. Not yet Holt, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holt being controlled here, momentarily. Let's hope that Kaztamanov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holt looking for a sweep. Not yet Holt, not yet.

Kaztamanov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kaztamanov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Holt is in trouble now - Kaztamanov has advanced to mount! Kaztamanov avoids the attempt from Holt to control. Holt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kaztamanov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kaztamanov lands with some strikes. Holt wants to control but Kaztamanov is having none of it. Kaztamanov looking to control and managing it successfully. Kaztamanov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holt is looking to escape.

Holt is looking to control Kaztamanov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holt avoid being mounted? Well, if Kaztamanov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Horrible takedown attempt by Holt or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaztamanov, which made it look bad. Kaztamanov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Holt defends it well. Kaztamanov tries for a takedown but Holt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kaztamanov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kaztamanov goes for a double leg but Holt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Holt continues to drive forward.
