Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Mason (ranked 25709 p4p, 2437 weight class) and Kamari Hanna (ranked 401 p4p, 240 weight class). Hanna is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Corbin - Dragon Chaser. Dean Mason has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dean Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamari Hanna!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanna tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mason defends well and Hanna ends up having to push Mason into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hanna shoots in and bounces Mason off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mason is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hanna pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mason is keeping the position for now.
Hanna controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Hanna has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanna's guard.

Hanna is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Our spies down at at Numb Gym inform us that Hanna has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Mason knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hanna on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mason wants to control from the top but Hanna keeps moving.
Mason stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mason leaves Hanna with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Mason was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mason tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hanna manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hanna tries to keep at a distance but Mason has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mason prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dean Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kamari Hanna.
Mason gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hanna.
Mason escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kamari Hanna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mason tries to close the distance and clinch but Hanna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hanna shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mason defends it nicely.
Hanna looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mason looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mason closes the distance and clinches up with Hanna, looking for a takedown. Mason pushes Hanna against the cage but Hanna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And Hanna tries to counter it with a takedown but Mason pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hanna scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hanna is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mason is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mason wants to get back to his feet but Hanna drags him back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mason gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Hanna controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason tries to reverse the position but Hanna maintains control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mason regains half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kamari Hanna will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mason's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mason tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanna swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dean Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Hanna counters with a takedown into side control.
Mason can't do much from the bottom here.
Hanna advances to mount.
Mason is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hanna lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Hanna looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Mason sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Mason is pressing down on Hanna's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hanna has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mason takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hanna has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mason is bucking up trying to escape but Hanna cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mason tries to lock up and control but Hanna gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hanna tries to control but Mason wriggling away.
Mason is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Hanna locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mason is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kamari Hanna!
Kamari Hanna spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
